There is a shameful statistic that the Carolina Hurricanes and Chicago Blackhawks share for the 2023-2024 season.
You'd think, it'd be a positive stat, but unfortunately, the Original Six team's statistic is more than shameful.
While we realize, the Blackhawks rebuild kicked into gear in 2021, and we haven't seen the true prime of the current team, the 2023 Blackhawks were dreadful.
Pyotr Kochetkov (rookie 'Canes goalie) has the same amount of wins as the Chicago Blackhawks (original 6 NHL team).
Kotchetkov's record in 2023-2024 is as follows: 23-13-4, with a 2.33 GAA, and a .911 save percentage.
While the 2023-2024 Chicago Blackhawks were a dismal 23-53-6 in the Central Division.
This is hopefully the last time we will have to post something as terrible as this, as the team looks like they'll improve in the ranks in 2024.
However, you can't guarantee it, just prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
