The Chicago Blackhawks will face off against the Seattle Kraken tonight in the United Center, if they win tonight they'll have won 3-straight games, a feat not seen since 2023.

That was when Patrick Kane was still a Chicago Blackhawk player, and it occurred in February 2023, before GM Kyle Davidson would later move Kane to the New York Rangers at the end of his time here.

Anders Sorensen may have found the right switch, as the team has won their last two games against the Washington Capitals, and New York Islanders.

The two games, saw the team put in the effort required to mount comebacks later in the game, and score by committee to win each game.

The Hawks are currently 11-19-2 and are on an upswing as Bedard has scored 6 points(2 G, 4 A) in the last 5 games.

Can Bedard and his newfound confidence help dig the Hawks out of the hole they've put themselves in?

The atmosphere surrounding the team is electric and Interim Coach Anders Sorense has been a positive for the club since he arrived from Rockford.

While no NHL team is perfect, the Blackhawks have glaring weaknesses, in the defense and on the power-play.

If Sorensen can tighten this up, the Blackhawks could play as they have been advertised this season, simply improved.

But putting three big wins together is something that this team shouldn't focus on alone.

Teams like the Columbus Blue Jackets won 16 in a row under John Tortorella, when they could've been considered a dumpster-diving team with no discipline.

It's easy to wish for something to happen, but Sorensen needs to instill discipline and cohesion into this Blackhawks team.

Or this rebuild could end up like the New York Rangers now, being slowly stripped for parts by the GM.
