The Chicago Blackhawks' Alumni Takes Part in a great event with TV Stars from famous TV show Shoresy
The Chicago Blackhawks' alumni got to take part in a special event with the cast of "Shoresy" a hockey series born from the mind of Letterkenny superstar, Jared Keeso.
Keeso earned a spot in hockey fan's hearts everywhere as he portrayed Don Cherry in "Keep Your Head Up Kid" and "The Wrath of Grapes" which filmed the story of Cherry's early and late career.
Since Letterkenny's start, he's built upon the success of the past, with hockey players Riley and Jonesy as main fixtures in the series, also Shoresy as a faceless, albeit hilarious character.
What is the Shoresy Fall Classic?
A series of hockey games, where the Shoresy cast compete against NHL Alumni. A portion of proceeds is donated to a local charity. Tickets are available for the game and/or the VIP experience.
Who is on the Bulldogs team?
The Bulldogs will include Jared Keeso (Shoresy), Terry Ryan (Hitch), Jonathan Diaby (Dolo), Andrew Antsanen (Goody), Max Bouffard (JJ Frankie JJ), Jacob Smith (Fish), Jon Mirasty (Jim #1), Brandon Nolan (Jim #2), Jordan Nolan (Jim #3), Ryan McDonell (Michaels), Keegan Long (Liam), Bourke Cazabon (Cory), Frederick Roy (Delaney) .
Now, three seasons in, Shoresy's face is visible(being absent for so long in Letterkenny) and has been turned into what I'd consider an "anti-hero" as a leader and loveable jerk, he's once again doing something great with his fame.
The Shoresy Classic landed in Allstate Arena, as the TV cast including Keeso himself, took on some familiar Blackhawks alumni:
Blackhawks Alumni roster includes: Brian Noonan, Adrian Aucoin, Grant Mulvey, Kyle Calder, Adam Burish, Steve Poapst, Sergei Krivokrasov, Wade Brookbank, Tim Stapleton, Reid Simpson, Jake Dowell, Tom White, Vince LoVerde, Ben Eager, Mike Brown, Bob Nardella, and Scott Foster.
*Roster is subject to change.
The Shoresy classic saw the "Sunbury Bulldog" take on the alumni of multiple NHL teams including the Boston Bruins, Buffalo Sabres, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, and Toronto Maple Leafs.
