The Chicago Blackhawks have made a signing today, as they bring Alternate Captain, Brandon Baddock back.

The Blackhawks have made a signing, and he will report to their affiliate team, the Rockford Ice Hogs- but is expected to make a push for a roster spot.
The 29-year old has signed one for another year in Rockford, served as Alternate Captain in 63 games with the team last season.
He would post 3 assists all the while, while the 6'3" 223 pound winger, 111 PIMs indicates more or less he is the character guy in the locker-room.
A much-needed presence for the Blackhawks as Connor Bedard was hit many times in the previous season, with no backup.
His 111 PIMs, rank for 19th in the AHL, while he led the Hogs in the statistic, and ranked fifth most in the Central Division.
At the 2023-2024 team awards, his physical play led him to earning the "Heavy Hitter" title.

"We are excited to have Brandon back with our group," said IceHogs Head Coach Anders Sorensen. "His leadership both on and off the ice is an asset to both our younger players and our staff. Brandon is a pro with a competitive nature and a team-first mentality, and those are both things we value as an organization."

Baddock's career totals including 55 points( 21 G, 34 A) in 386 AHL Games, split between the Binghamton Devils, Iowa Wild, Laval Rocket and Rockford IceHogs.
The Alberta born heavy hitter, led the AHL in one-season with 154 PIMS, and when he suits up in 2024-2025 it will be his eighth season in the AHL.
Baddock has seen on game of NHL play in December 2021, with the Montreal Canadiens, while seeing time in the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder in 2016-17.
In the WHL, he registered 103 points( 54 G, 49 A) in 255 games, with the Edmonton Oil Kings, logging a whopping 480 PIMs, and helping the team acquire a WHL championship in 2014.
