Boston Bruins fans furious following horrible return in Linus Ullmark trade
The Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators have made a huge trade today.
The Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins are in the process of finalizing the deal which send goalie Linus Ullmark to the Canadian capital.
The goalie spent three years in Boston and wanted a new situation where he would be the #1 netminder and GM Don Sweeney has made it happen.
The #NHLBruins have acquired forward Mark Kastelic, goaltender Joonas Korpisalo, and a 2024 first-round draft pick (25th overall) from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for goaltender Linus Ullmark. With Ullmark out of Boston, the Bruins can prioritize Jeremy Swayman and other free agents they want to keep in the meantime.
The hold-up prior to finalizing the deal, with an extension which is expected to be announced shortly, but ended up falling through: the Bruins traded Ullmark to the Senators without a contract in place.
As expected, fans are NOT happy with the return...
