The Chicago Blackhawks veterans still have a close relationship with the team and to this day contribute past their days of playing hockey, for the original six clubs.

One of them is Johnny Oduya who was a part of the Blackhawks Cup Runs in 2013 and 2015 who recently launched a clothing line, and is still working in coaching hockey players.

But he approaches the sport from a different perspective now, running an app called "Hale" which helps breathwork. Oduya is a co-owner of the app and is bringing his coaching skills in breathing to the Blackhawks prospects.
Johnny Oduya is here at Blackhawks development camp. He taught the prospects a class on controlling your breathing. If you've ever seen what kind of shape Oduya is in, you'd listen.

— a space for breathwork.
we provide purpose –
designed classes that help
you unlock the full potential
of your breath.

Hale currently runs in Stockholm, Sweden where Oduya calls home when he isn't helping future Blackhawks perfect their breathing.
what is breathwork
in essence, we help you tap one of your body's strongest self-healing mechanisms: your breath.

through controlled exercises carefully and mindfully conducted by our certified breath guides, we awaken your natural ability to breathe diaphragmatically. gradually you will become aware of your breath and learn to adjust its depth and rate. after some practice, you will develop the ability to bring mind and body in balance on your own.

it's like a superpower.

Oduya helped found the business in 2019, in Stockholm as his last year in the NHL saw him play 52 games split between the Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators.
Oduya won two-cups with the Blackhawks in 2013 and 2015 and knows about practices that helped him win.
