The next Chicago Blackhawk to be traded has been revealed
The Chicago Blackhawks are getting ready for the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, and one player who's been talked about a lot is forward Colin Blackwell. As the Blackhawks are rebuilding, Blackwell, with his career-high season, seems to be the next one out the door while his value is high.
Teams going to the playoffs want more depth for their forwards, and Blackwell could fit the bill.
He plays hard and is good defensively, which makes him attractive to other teams.
In the 25 games he played this season with the Blackhawks, Blackwell scored three goals, had three assists, and made 29 hits.
He's not scoring a ton, but he's solid defensively, which teams like.
With the trade deadline coming up, it won't be surprising if Blackwell finds himself playing for a different team as they try to improve for the playoffs.
