Philadelphia Flyers welcome Guy Gaudreau into their organization after the passing of Johnny and Matthew
Guy Gaudreau, father of the fallen Johnny and Matthew takes the ice following invite from NHL organization
The Gaudreau brothers passing left a void in the hockey world that will not be able to be replenished, ever. Those affected include fans, friends and family of Johnny- especially Guy and Jane Gaudreau, Father and Mother of Matthew and Johnny.
Their void will never be fulfilled, but an NHL organization has came over to show support to the Gaudreau family, and it's one close to home.
Born in New Jersey, the Gaudreau brothers grew up watching the Philadelphia Flyers, and the team invited Guy to join them at their practice Monday morning.
It was not just the management that thought through the invite, it was John Tortorella- who is known to be one of the most demanding, or as some say 'hard-headed' coaches in the NHL, but with one of the biggest hearts.
As Guy takes the ice with the Flyers, the organization will surely gain strength from having such a powerful individual in presence.
