Patrick Kane turns on his hometown Buffalo Sabres team

Patrick Kane shot down speculation of another major move during free agency, as he re-signed with the Yzerplan, in Hockeytown.
It appears he believes the Red Wings are the best option to win a cup, and hey the familiarity of
Alex DeBrincat is a nice reason to return to Detroit as well.
Unlike Kane's hometown Buffalo, who are currently rebuilding, but view themselves as competitors, with
Tage Thompson leading the way.
The Sabres will again have to go through their hometown star, Patrick Kane, and the Detroit Red Wings to make it to the playoffs.
It's likely with the Red Wing strengthening their lineup during the off-season, the beatings will continue, as in 2023-2024 the Detroit Red Wings won their series in the regular season against the Sabres with 3 wins and 1 loss.
Of course, on April 7th, 2024 the Sabres were looking to secure a spot in the playoffs and with the Atlantic Division being one of their tougher divisions in the league, they will have to push through the Wings again, if they can.
As Kane is healthier compared to 2023-2024, and will hopefully play a full 82 game season with the Red Wings.
Last season Kane posted 47 points in 51 games with the Wings and will look to conjure the Showtime of old, to push the Red Wings through Buffalo and into a playoff spot in 2024-2025.
