Adding to their already injury-ridden roster, the Chicago Blackhawks have suffered some more bad news.

Next on the list, as the season woes continue, is Anthony Beauvillier, a recent trade acquisition.

He is moving to the injured reserve like Taylor Hall, who has been injured multiple times, but unlike Hall, Beauvillier is only going to the injured reserve once.

Chicago has officially moved a seventh player to injured reserve.

Among those out due to injury are Seth Jones, Taylor Hall, and Andreas Athanasiou.

Since joining the Chicago Blackhawks from the Vancouver Canucks, he has recorded 6 points and a -3 rating on the ice in 15 games.

In his season totals so far, he has 14 points in 37 games and is on pace for 31 points in 82 games, should he keep producing when he returns from injury.

Beauvillier was part of the deal which sent Bo Horvat to Long Island, and the Canucks also received a 1st round pick in 2023, along with forward Aatu Raty in return.
