The Chicago Blackhawks have completed a roster move with the defenseman Connor Murphy.
With three months passed since Connor Murphy was put on the injured reserve, the team has moved him back to the roster.
The defenseman's lingering groin injury from January has finally resolved, after missing 34 games due to being placed on IR.
Murphy's last game was played on January 13th, 2024, and has just eight points( 2 G, 6 A) in 43 games this season.
It looked like Murphy's season may have been over, but he had recently returned to practice weeks ago.
With four games left on the Blackhawks calendar, the defenseman looks to get back into the swing of things and help the team move into the next season.
The Blackhawks will take on the Nashville Predators at the United Center on Friday at 7:30 PM CT. The game will be broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago +2.
