Connor Bedard victim of cheapshot that goes unseen by referees
In the Chicago Blackhawks' recent 5-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets, 18-year-old sensation Connor Bedard found himself right in the thick of the action.
During the game, Mathieu Olivier, who is known for his grittiness after recently dropping the mitts with trending rookie Matt Rempe, delivered a powerful shove to Bedard, causing him to collide with Erik Gudbranson just as Ryan Donato scored.
This wasn't the first time Bedard faced adversity on the ice. In a recent game against the Colorado Avalanche, he endured a hard hit to the arm from Josh Manson's stick during a 5-0 loss.
