120 Penalty Minutes Handed Out After Huge AHL Line Brawl - Before The Puck Was Even Dropped??
The AHL is quite the league, it is filled with skilled prospects that have a bright future in the NHL, or the complete opposite, 30 plus year olds who's career flopped in the big leagues, and buried in the AHL.
Last night, the San Jose Sharks and Arizona Coyotes affiliate teams (AHL) matched up for a Saturday night rivalry game, it was quite the important game as both teams are neck-and-neck in their division standings, a San Jose win would have put them ahead of Tucson.
Well, the idea of ''winning'' the game was quickly thrown out the door and off the books when both teams coaches decided to start their grinder lines, filled with some big boys who know how to throw punches, each and every player on the ice decided to drop the gloves before the puck even dropped making for a full on line brawl, something we do not see too often anymore.
