The Blackhawks beat the Kraken, 5-4.

1. 2 Goals in 13 Seconds: Chicago scored 2 goals in 13 seconds! It was a late 3rd period effort that won them the game. Tyler Johnson scored his second goal of the game. Raddysh gave it to Toews, Toews centered it to Johnson. Tyler shot a wrister right past the goaltender. Jason Dickinson, who came over from the Canucks in the Riley Stillman trade, has impressed a lot. It was unassisted. A skater on Seattle lost the puck near the faceoff circle, and Dickinson picked it up, shot it, and it when in the net.

2. A High Scoring Game: This game had a lot of action. With how many Power Plays there were, and how many shots and chances there were for both teams. There were 9 goals total in the game.

3. Penalties: Penalties killed both teams. Three Power Plays for the Hawks, and Four for the Kraken. Chicago's Penalty Kill was stellar, with them not converting once. Seattle's, however, was not. The Blackhawks went 2/3 on the Power Play. All Power Play's for both teams was very exciting, with a lot of chances on both sides of the ice.

4. Another Shorty: Shorthanded goals seem to be the Hawks specialty this season. Last year they had two in 82 games. This year they have three in four games! Sam Lafferty has two, and Jujar Khaira has one. Jujar poked the puck away, and passed the puck over to Colin Blackwell. Blackwell lost the puck, but it happened to take a lucky bounce and go right to Khaira for the goal. Luke Richardson's Penalty Kill is different from Jeremy Colliton's, as it is more aggressive.

5. 2 Goals in 1 Minute: The second period kicked off hot, with one goal from each team in less than one minute. Max Domi kicked the period off with a goal, after his Overtime winner Saturday night against the Detroit Red Wings. The goal Max scored against Seattle was a Power Play goal. Seth Jones fired a wrist shot, it was saved but Domi was there, right place right time, found the puck and put it in the back of the net. Matty Beniers responded for the Kraken. It was a give to Jaden Schwartz, but he fumbled it. He ripped the puck back into the center, and Beniers was there and put it in the back of the net. An unlucky goal for the Hawks.

It was a good game played by Chicago, and this team does sure love being down 2-0 in the 1st period. All jokes aside, this team showed a lot of grit tonight and showed what they can do. And like Richardson said, just because we're in a rebuild, it doesn't mean we have to lose every game.
