It was and emotional night for former Blackhawks forward Alex DeBrincat as on Monday he would play in his first game back in the United Center since being traded to the Ottawa Senators back at the NHL Entry Draft last year in the summer and would get a video tribute from them.

Stalock played a solid game making 35 saves in his shutout holding DeBrincat and the Senators whole roster off the scoresheet. DeBrincat would end up with 7 shots on goal and a -3 plus minus rating. The Cat spent the first 5 years of his career with the Blackhawks and during his time he would go on to put up 307 points in 368 games.

He isn't having his best year with the Senators as he only has 54 points in 62 games, and earlier in the year he disccused his frustration with the team and how he wanted to be on a team who is competing and making the playoffs often.

Since then things have turned around as the Senators are chasing the Penguins right now just being 3 points behind them for the second wildcard spot, but the Penguins have 1 game in hand on them.
