The Dallas Stars are playing phenomenal hockey this season as they find themselves in first place in the Central Division with 52 points. The Stars announced some big news as they extended Joe Pavelski to a one year deal worth $3.5 million with $2 million in performance bonuses.
Even though Pavelski is 38 years old and seems to be nearing the end of his career, he has been averaging just below a point per game this season, tallying 37 points in 38 games.
Pavelski is one of the locker-room leaders in Dallas and having him around to help a younger team with Stanley Cup aspirations is priceless. Do you think this is a good deal for Dallas?
