BREAKING NEWS! The Tampa Bay Lightning and Nashville Predators have combined for one of the better trades so far this off season.
The Tampa Bay Lightning are sending veteran defenseman Ryan McDonaugh to the Nashville Predators in exchange for young defenseman Phillippe Myers and Grant Mismash.
This seems to be strictly a cap space move for Tampa, and it's been reported that they'll be buying out
Philippe Myers contract within the next few days- so clearly just a salary dump move to offload cap.
Tampa not retaining any salary on McDonagh, expect them to buy out Myers in the next couple days. #GoBolts #Preds
