BREAKING: Major Update Regarding Kane and Toews' Future in Chicago- You Might Like it
Chicago Blackhawks fans have just been itching to find out what's next for two Blackhawks legends, Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. Will they be waiving their no-trade clause and request a trade elsewhere?
The Blackhawks are currently the worst team in the NHL and have zero chance at making the playoffs throughout the next few years, Kane and Toews are both heading towards the final few years of their careers, do they really want to spend their final moments in the NHL losing? It wouldn't be surprising if that was the case and it would give the Blackhawks an opportunity to acquire some valuable assets to help the Hawks' future.
Time is ticking and the March 3rd NHL trade deadline is just one month away, and now, we have an ''inside scoop''...
According to a report from one of the biggest sports companies out there, Barstool Chicago, Ryan Brandell has stated he has a bit of inside scoop, he stated Toews and Kane will NOT be traded this season, and that he expects Patrick Kane to return and re-sign next year.
Toews on the other hand, Brandell states he doesn't think Toews will be back.
This makes sense and it doesn't, but it would make more sense of the two returning to Chicago if Kane and or Toews decide to sign one-year deals, to get one more year in Chicago.
