The Toronto Maple Leafs have recently been hit with some sad news regarding John Tavares, Tavares was originally listed on the day-to-day injury list but has now been put on week to week.
Originally Tavares's injury did not seem very serious, but now Tavares is definitely missing MINIMUM 3 WEEKS! The news was reported by multiple NHL sources this morning including Luke Fox from Sportsnet and NHL insider Elliot Friedman.
The injury came in Saturdays preseason game.
