BREAKING NEWS: Shane Wright Has Reportedly Been Traded
BREAKING NEWS
Shane Wright, last years 4th overall NHL draft pick has been traded according to multiple sources. Shane Wright is recently coming off a Gold Medal win at the World Junior Championships, where Wright tallied up seven points in seven games played while being Team Canada's captain.
Wright was sent down to his Junior team by the Seattle Kraken just over 12 hours after winning gold, and many sources confirmed a trade was underway for Wright in the OHL due to his current team (Kingston Frontenacs) being out of a playoff picture.
According to Ken Campbell, Shane Wright has been traded to the London Knights in exchange for defensemen Oliver Bonk, who is the son of former NHL'er Radek Bonk. Six draft picks are reportedly being sent to Kingston as well in exchange for Wright.
I'm hearing Shane Wright to the London Knights for defenseman Oliver Bonk and six draft picks. Bonk turns 18 tomorrow.
