The Blackhawks have arguable the biggest day of the season coming up; the trade deadline.

With that coming and ahead of tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, they made some roster moves.

The Blackhawks have recalled Isaak Phillips and Brett Seney, and Cole Guttman is playing his first NHL game. Guttman is 23 years old and was signed by Chicago this offseason to a 2-year deal. Phillips and Seney we have seen before. Issak scored his first NHL goal just a couple months ago, with Seney still searching for his first goal.

They have also placed Jarred Tinordi, Jonathan Toews, and Alex Stalock all on the IR. Tinordi, just coming back from a jaw injury that sidelined him long-term, is out again with a knee sprain. Toews has been sick for the past few games now. Well is "non-covid related illness) has just benched him. Fans are starting to wonder whether he is actually sick or if this is for March's trade deadline. I was wondering when Stalock would return, but it looks like we got our answer and it's not any time soon.
