The Minnesota Wild have reportedly been connected to the Blackhawk of 16-years, Patrick Kane, according to reports from The Athletic's Scott Powers and Mark Lazerus. This indicates that a new team has entered the action.
The Minnesota�Wild are in a position where they must act soon on a crucial way, whether they want to make a splash and go on a playoff run or likely have another disapointing season/postseason if not. They have over $16.5 million in deadline cap space to work with, so they should try to be aggressive buyers, according to CapFriendly. As a result, they are not guaranteed�a position in the playoff, and the fans are losing patience.
Kane has a lot of potential fits�right now, so there is no guarantee the Wild will wind up signing him before the deadline.
