BREAKING - The Blackhawks Officially Complete a Roster Move
The Chicago Blackhawks announced a roster move on Tuesday, calling up defenseman Alex Vlasic from their AHL affiliate, the Rockford Ice Hogs. Vlasic, a 22-year-old prospect, has been a standout player for the Ice Hogs this season with his defensive abilities, and has even posted 12 points in 30 games as a bonus.
Vlasic was selected by the Blackhawks in the second round of the 2020 NHL draft and has been considered a top prospect for the team ever since. He will likely add depth to the Blackhawks' defensive lineup and give them some much-needed youth and energy on the ice.
This call-up could also signal the Blackhawks' focus on developing young talent and building for the future, as they continue to rebuild and improve their roster. Blackhawks fans will no doubt be excited to see Vlasic in action and see how he can contribute to the team's success moving forward.
