Blackhawks Coach Derek King Has Finally Taken Accountability..
The Chicago Blackhawks have had one heck of a season-not in a good way. There are multiple factors that are causing the Blackhawks season to go poorly, Derek King partially being one.
Derek King has finally taken accountability, with one game left in the season, a little too late don't you think? As it seems he has been mentioning «I would be happy to get the opportunity to coach this team again» - is he finally only taking accountability for his own teams actions because of his future in Chicago being at risk? It seems so.
Derek King has constantly thrown players under the bus, and referring to HIS team as «they» and not «we» as one which is a huge red flag towards his leadership. After the Blackhawks last loss against the San Jose Sharks, the Blackhawks played the Philadelphia Flyers-Derek King's pre game speech to the team consisted of stating that the team should be embarrassed & needed to earn «HIS» respect back after their recent loss.
His respect? It seems as if mutual respect is only a one-way road for Derek King, when he demands but does not return. Well, up until the final game of the year, Derek King has taken accountability.
