Blackhawks Newly Drafted Prospect Gets Car & Hockey Equipment Stolen After Draft in Montreal..
The Chicago Blackhawks drafted Ryan Greene 75th overall in this years NHL entry draft, the 18 year old finally got to live up to his National Hockey League dream after grinding through multiple seasons in the USHL and 8 plus years in various highly skilled leagues. Although it did not go as smooth as they planned, the Greene family spent two days in the Sheraton Hotel in Montreal, and the mother of Ryan explains the rest..
"Drove to Montreal in our Honda CR-V @Honda to watch our son get drafted to the NHL. Stayed at Sheraton hotels Laval for two days. Vehicle stolen during the day. He is off to Development camp with no hockey gear and sticks. Thieves able to steal key fob signal. Happens daily. FYI" Mother of Ryan Greene said.
The Blackhawks prospect was left without his equipment from head to toe, sticks, gloves, a helmet, chest pads and all of thee above- he had to borrow a full setup from the Chicago Blackhawks training camp staff. This is extremely sad to hear, word is that Quebec is known for these type of thefts as of late, and everybody should be aware. Scammers are somehow gaining a signal with a key fob that grants permission to get into the vehicle and also permission to turn on the push to start.
