Blackhawks Colton Dach Reacts to Hawks Trading Away His Brother Kirby Dach
The Chicago Blackhawks team and fan base has been a hot mess as of late after the departure of Alex DeBrincat and developing prospect Kirby Dach, as well as trade rumours swarming around Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews. Nothing has been confirmed on Patrick Kane yet, but Jonathan Toews has been confirmed to be being shopped by the Blackhawks; source Pierre LeBrun.
With trade talks of Seth Jones being out the door and the Blackhawks changing plans heading into rebuild mode, it seems as if the brother duos are falling apart. Caleb and Seth Jones, Kirby and Colton Dach both younger brothers (Caleb, Colton) were brought/drafted into the Blackhawks organization and a big part of that was due to family also being here. It must be a great feeling experiencing the NHL life-style with your brother, your day 1 best friend- but what is it like having that be split up?
Colton Dach never got the opportunity to experience a NHL season with his brother as he is not developed yet, but he still feels shocked and had to let it sink in- listen to him speak on his brother being traded below:
