Blackhawks prospect Ryder Rolston has been turning heads at Notre Dame this season and is making sure that Blackhawks fans don't forget about him. Rolston was drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 draft by Colorado. The Blackhawks acquired the rights to Rolston along with Josh Dickinson in the Carl Soderberg trade with Colorado in 2021.
Through 24 games with Notre Dame this season, Rolston has 7 goals and 9 assists. Rolston's 7 goals and 16 points are tied for the team lead this season. Rolston's mobility and quick release make him stand out from the competition and his play this season is making him worthy of a contract from Chicago if he chooses to go pro after this season concludes.
