Detroit Red Wings defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 5-1 last Friday and the team struggled on power plays.

There appears to be a sticking point for the team, as not only Connor Bedard but Tyler Johnson were frustrated by their inability to score on the power play.

In an attempt to express his frustration with the team's performance after the failed conversion against the Wings, Bedard broke his stick on the bench.

As the Blackhawks failed to convert and defend the net on the power play, it was evident that Bedard's eyes were boiling over with anger and frustration.

Tinordi: "We saw last game [Bedard] was a little bit frustrated, and he came out with some fire. That's something we need more of in this group. Things haven't really been going our way and you've got to get pissed off, you've got to play with some energy... He brought it tonight and we had a few guys that could've brought a little bit more."

Jarred Tinordi believed that the team needed to see more of that energy if it was to succeed in the future.

The Blackhawks will need to change things soon, as their current power play percentage is 10.3% and they went 1 for 3 on the power play against the up-and-coming Detroit Red Wings.
