Connor Bedard's mom reveals major info about her son
It was in July 2005 that Connor Bedard was born to Tom and Melanie Bedard. In Melanie, a Vancouver-born hockey player has the benefit of having the ultimate hockey mom.
The sacrifice Melanie and Tom made to ensure Connor's hockey career was preserved was tremendous.

When Connor was drafted by the Regina St. Pats, Tom and Madisen remained in North Vancouver while mom Melanie moved with Connor 1,000 miles away.
By doing so, she ensured his success, which was the goal of Melanie and Tom.
The early recognition of Connor's talent, however, led to his career being marked with early success, as Melanie recounts, when Connor was 10 years old.
In a rare interview with NHL.com, she shared parts of that journey: "We had agents calling us when he was 10 years old, and we thought there must be something they see but we just always knew he was crazy about hockey."
"I'm so proud of Connor, especially when he's wearing that Canada jersey because we've watched that tournament since he was a baby and when he was growing up," she shared.
A number of agents were able to see how passionate Connor was about hockey, according to Melanie.
Since then, he has appeared in 21 NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks posting 10 goals and 8 assists for 18 points.
He has garnered media fame along the way and he is the next franchise player for the team.
