Calgary Born Cale Makar Helped With Nazem Kadri's Signing in Calgary
Calgary native born Cale Makar and London Ontario born Nazem Kadri shared a special bond throughout there three years spent together in a Colorado Avalanche jersey, both players had outstanding performances together while being paired on the first powerplay unit, and mostly shared there many minutes a night on the same forward/defense combination.
Kadri revealed he would not have the performance he did in his season with Colorado without Nathan Mackinnon and the rookie phenom Cale Makar.
The two also shared a hotel room during the NHL's All-Star weekend, as Kadri replaced a injured Nathan Mackinnon's spot in the All-Star game.
Despite the two being split up as Kadri has signed with the Calgary Flames, Makar offered his knowledge of his birthplace Calgary to Kadri, Makar congratulated him and said he'd help with whatever Nazem Kadri needed getting adjusted to the Calgary city.
