Chicago Blackhawk suspended for two games for abuse of a referee

The Rangers would come out on top, 4-3 in OT. While three players would be suspended by the OHL, two from the Rangers and one from the Otters.
He was the only Otter player given a suspension, as 8:19 left to play Henry wouldn't successfully make a zone entry, as he was turned around. He'd use his stick to reach and would take his opponent down to the ice.
He'd receive a penalty which he disagreed with, as he felt the Kitchener Rangers player was embellishing to draw the penalty.
Henry would head to the penalty box, and would have many words for official, none too kind either. The defender is in his second year in the OHL, and would receive another penalty and Game Misconduct which would end his night.
The OHL would announce on X, that he would be suspended for two-games following abuse of officials on October 26th.
Henry will miss the Otters next two games against Brantford, and the
Barrie Colts in the OHL's Eastern Conference.
He will be eligible to return to play on November 7th, when the Otters play the
Niagara Ice-Dogs, who are currently on a tear.
What wasn't mentioned was a play that happened prior, which could've been part of the reason why Henry was so angry:
Henry went back to retrieve the puck behind the net and was clipped up high in the head by a chicken wing elbow from Kitchener forward Jack LaBrash. The hit drew some blood off Ty and LaBrash was given a five-minute game misconduct for checking to the head.
The OHL has subsequently suspended LaBrash for two games for his hit. He is eligible to return for the Rangers' game against Saginaw on Nov. 3.
This will look bad on Henry, but in the game of hockey retaliation is a common happening, when referees fail to police the ice.
The Blackhawks have an NHL-caliber defenseman in Henry and would love to see his development in the OHL progress nicely. Hopefully, this is just one fork in the road on the way to Chicago.
The 6-foot-4 defenceman brings NHL-calibre skating and a clear dimension: Defence. On retrievals, Henry wins body positioning early, then sinks into a deep, explosive punch turn for the escape. He's a quick, fluid mover who easily closes the distance on opponents, especially laterally. His physicality shines along the boards, where he matches footwork, closes the distance, and battles to get inside the hands. When all else fails, his mobility and reach allow him to recover and disrupt. -EliteProspects 2024 NHL Draft Guide
