As most Blackhawks fans are aware, Jonathan Toews played his 1,000th game on Thursday against the Florida Panthers. Throughout the broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago, different videos were shown of different people congratulating Toews on his milestone achievement. Everyone from his parents, former coach Denis Savard, and former teammates such as Brent Seabrook and Patrick Sharp. But one former teammate made a video that fans haven't heard from in awhile. And that is former Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford. Crawford made a short video in which he said "Congrats on 1,000 games Jonny. I don't think anyone doubted you'd be able to accomplish this. It's been an amazing career so far, but you still got a ton of hockey to go. I had a lot of fun playing besides you all those years. You're a great teammate, but an even better friend. Enjoy this one buddy, all the best"

Nice to hear from someone that the fans don't hear from that often anymore. It's hard to forget just how big of a role that he played in both the 2013 and 2015 Stanley Cup winning seasons. He has a total of 52 playoff wins in his time with the Blackhawks to go along with the two cups. That along with the rest of his career stats really don't get talked about enough. 260 career wins, 2nd only to Glenn Hall. Crawford also has a career .918 save percentage, also 2nd in franchise history. He also has 26 career shutouts to his name as well.

Definitely a high class move from Crawford on this one to congratulate Toews after not hearing from him in a long time. Just goes to show how high teammates and even former teammates think of the captain.
