NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman addresses media regarding his retirement in the league
Bettman has recently made some comments regarding his retirement, and speaks on if he'll be calling it quits or not.
Serving as NHL commissioner for over 20 years, fans surely have their opinions on the aging man who continues to save the Arizona Coyotes- for who knows what reason?
One of Bettman's upsides is taking the NHL through multiple expansion processes, including the Seattle Kraken, Vegas Golden Knights, and moving the entire Arizona Coyotes organization to Utah- just to name a few.
Turning 73 years of age this upcoming June on the 2nd, Gary is officially turning grey, and is his time in the NHL slowly running out of color?
Prior to the NHL Winter Classic, commissioner Bettman held interviews and addressed the idea of his retirement.
«I love what I do, I'm energized by it. The league has been growing, I've got great support of ownership. Hockey's in a good place and I'm thrilled to be a part of it,» Bettman said on the What Chaos! Show.
«If I didn't have the energy and I didn't love what I do and get thrilled every day to go to work, then I'd have to think about slowing down,» Bettman added.

It seems like fans may have to put up with Bettman for a bit more, or do they? He's recently acknowledged his aging habits.
«Father time always wins and I'll have to deal with that. But at least for the foreseeable future, I like where I am,» he said.
