Czechia Makes History With Interesting Outdoor Game Feature
The Winter Classic is one of the best spectacles in hockey. Two rivals playing in the great outdoors with thousands of fans packed in a NFL or MLB stadium. While the NHL has made some big strides with the Winter Classic over the last few years, the Czech outdoor game may have provided the next big thing.
The Czech appear to be experimenting with see through glass boards at their outdoor game this year. I think the glass boards are something the NHL can look into for next year's Winter Classic.
If the NHL can use clear boards, they may be able to add additional seating on the field of play like you would see at a concert. Fans would be able to see the puck at all times and would provide a much better experience.
What do you think? Should the NHL use glass boards and expand seating at the Winter Classic?
