For many fans they get their hockey fixes from video game hockey more specifically the NHL hockey game from video game publisher Electronic Arts. The NHL hockey game has been a annual release since it's inaugural game back on the Sega Genesis in 1991.
The game has come along with implementing cover athletes since NHL 97 when Florida Panthers Legend goaltender John Vanbiesbrouck gracing the cover. We now come NHL 23 that's going to be coming out this October and has fans wondering who's going to make this cover?
However, we might already know the answer as Ea would share this photo with the blocks of ice. Then today Anaheim Ducks Trevor Zegras would share a photo on Twitter with a photo of him on a similar block of ice. Zegras would also share his number is changing going from #46 to #11.
The Official NHL 23 Trailer is scheduled for Thursday August 25th when they will show the Trailer along with the cover athlete but If I was a betting man I'd bet it all on Trevor Zegras.
