Did this former Blackhawks defensemen just leak Kane's new team?
We're now in November, around five months after Patrick Kane had hip resurfacing surgery. It was specifically mentioned by both Kane and Brisson that Kane would not sign with any teams until he could play again.
Having the surgery during the post-season gave Kane the best chance of playing like he did prior to his last 50+ point season with the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers.
Chris Chelios sees the Red Wings as a good fit for Patrick Kane.
Do you want to see Kane in Detroit?
As rumors continue to swirl, the rumor mill suggests his return is imminent.
A veteran defenseman on TNT may have leaked Kaner's next team; is he headed to Detroit?
Chelios, a commentator and former Blackhawks defenseman, believes Detroit and Kane are a good fit.
A player like Kane would be a great addition to the Red Wings offense, which has been on fire since former teammate Alex DeBrincat joined the team.
Kane is unlikely to be on a contending team if he ends up in Detroit, so we're calling this speculation for now.
