Eddie Olczyk Days Until Hawks Hawkey: Watch His Blackhawks 1980's Highlights & More
Prior to the Blackhawks 2021-22 season, it was announced that Pat Foley would be calling his final season as the Blackhawks color analyst. Following the 2021-22 season, another shocking change occurred and it was revealed that Eddie Olczyk would also be departing the Blackhawks booth.
He, along with his son, Nick, have joined the Seattle Kraken to be their color analysts. With two empty seats in the booth, the Blackhawks had to replace the iconic duo the Hawks announced who would be filling the role.
Patrick Sharp and Troy Murray will be the new color analysts for the Blackhawks for the foreseeable future.

No. 16: Eddie Olczyk (C, 1984-87, 1998-2000)
Drafted No. 3 overall by his hometown team in the 1984 NHL Draft, Olczyk spent his first three seasons and last two seasons with the Blackhawks, where he produced 209 points (77 goals, 132 assists) in 322 regular-season games and 13 points (seven goals, six assists) in 22 postseason contests.
Eddie O has cemented his legacy in Chicago as both a hockey player and broadcaster.
