In the Ducks vs Sharks game, the refs had yet another laughable moment.
It's been a problem since the beginning of time that refs weren't consistent. The only acceptable referee is Wes McCauley.
Well, this was called a good goal. Cam Fowler botched the pass going across the blue line, fumbling with the puck. Now, Adam Henrique's skate slid behind the blue line, which should have ruled the play offside. But, according to a new rule, a player must have full possession of the puck for it to be an offside. Fowler clearly had full possession, and Henrique was clearly offsides. Mason McTavish went to score, tying the game at 4 apiece.
San Jose challenged, and it was still a good goal. Anaheim went on to win in overtime 5-4, John Klingberg being the OT hero. All referees in all sports and leagues have been ridiculous, and it should not be tolerated. With the technology you have these things should not be happening, especially costing a team a game, whether it matters or not. This is unacceptable.
