Alex Stalock of the Chicago Blackhawks made what can only be described as the save of the year against Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche during their game last night. With just a few minutes into the first period and the Avalanche already up 1-0. MacKinnon found himself with the puck and an open net. He fired a shot towards the goal, but Stalock somehow managed to dive across the crease and make a miraculous save with his blocker.
The save kept the game at reach for the Blackhawks to get a chance to win. Stalock's heroics between the pipes undoubtedly saved the day for his team and will go down as one of the best saves of the season.
