Former Blackhawks superstars reunited on the scoresheet
A few years back Blackhawks superstars Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin were lighting up the score sheets and providing Chicago fans much to cheer about. Sadly they could not keep the band together and Panarin ended up going to the New York Rangers.
Fast forward to 2023, and with Kane departing the Blackhawks and heading to the Rangers for another cup run, both Panarin and Kane were reunited on the ice and the score sheet when the Rangers played the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Panarin with the Rangers has had a great career and currently has played 68 games, scored 21 goals, with 55 assists for 76 points. He currently has 28 power-play points.
Time will tell to see if the Rangers can be contenders or pretenders with this new look lineup. Head coach Gerald gallant seems to be finding a mix that will allow all these superstars to flourish.
But it remains to be seen if they can play the defence necessary to win the Stanley Cup and get through several really good Eastern Conference teams.
The Blackhawks are on the road and will be in Colorado to play the avalanche on Monday, March 20th. Game time will be 9:00 PM eastern.
