Bob Hartley is known for his colourful reactions to calls, and the picture perfect photo opportunities his priceless faces produce, but his coaching isn't what's in question here.
Hartley took to the airwaves to state adamantly who he believes is responsible for derailing Carey Price's career, while he was in his prime.
"Although he'll never admit it, Chris Kreider has held Carey Price's incredible career back,» said Hartley during a French Hockey radio show.
It's hard to argue against Hartley's comments as Kreider showed no effort to slow down, full well knowing he was going to cause a large collision. The result was destined for terrible circumstances.
This event happened eight-years ago, and still Price is left picking up the pieces, trying to stay healthy, which has been a tall task.
Former NHLer Brandon Prust was also very transparent and forthcoming with his comments regarding Kreider's reputation league-wide:
Kreider, 31, had a career-year in 2021-22 exploding for 52 goals, adding 25 assists for 77 points in 81 games. But it's hard to imagine a league where Kreider doesn't change his bullish play-style.
Add your thoughts about Kreider in the comments.
