In last nights Carolina Hurricanes vs Pittsburgh Penguins game the Penguins fell just a little too short by a score of 2-1.
The only goal the Penguins would score to give them some life came at seven minutes into the third period, and it'll be one you likely won't see again for a long time..
The Penguins were on the powerplay at the 7 minute mark, when forward Jake Guentzel would ''long-flip'' it into the Hurricanes zone towards their goaltender, when another Penguin Rickard Rakell would chase the puck down, and what happened next is..uh.. interesting, you'll have to see it for yourself:
This is a very rare goal seen as many goaltender don't tend to baseball swing the puck like this any more, thankfully for Frederick Andersen the Hurricanes took a 2-1 win, and that blooper of a goal didn't turn into a start of the Penguins come back.
