As if NHL teams needed any more incentive to fight over Connor Bedard, the 17 year old phenom just recorded another 6 point game in the Regina Pats' 6-3 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers.
Connor scored 1 goal and assisted on 5, giving him his second 6 point game of his career. In his 15 games with Regina since the start of 2023, Bedard has a total of 47 points, and 106 SOG. That gives him an average of 3.13 points per game, and 7.07 shots per game.
Currently, he is tied at 2 games a piece for most points (6) and least points (0). The rest of his stats are unsurprisingly, yet staggeringly impressive.
There is no shortage of reasons why teams are fighting over this young man, and this game only added fuel to that fire.
In the NHL, Anaheim and Columbus are tied at 41 points, with Columbus having 1 game in hand. Chicago is now ranked 30th, with 45 points, after their win in Dallas. They, too, have a game in hand over the Ducks.
