In the spotlight game of the night (because it's the ONLY game of the night), the Blackhawks are taking on the Flyers. The teams' records are nearly identical, with Chicago (26-42-11) having one more win, and one less loss than Philadelphia (25-43-11). They've played the same number of games, and are separated by one team in the standings - the New Jersey Devils. Currently, Chicago sits at 27, and Philly at 29.
In light of, well, everything, but especially Seth Jones' comments about there being nothing to be happy about, it might be hard to imagine why we'd even bother with pregame info. And I'll tell you, it's not easy, but we do it because the guys are still playing. And I know they have to, because it's their job, and who knows which of them, if any, would come out if they weren't getting paid hundreds of thousands and/or millions to do so, but they are. So here we are.
Kevin Lankinen will get the start, Stillman will replace Caleb Jones - interesting - and the rest of the lineup will stay the same, with Gustafsson in and De Haan out. And according to Ben Pope, CST, it doesn't seem likely that Murphy, Dach, or Entwistle will play again before the end of the season, which is an away game against Buffalo. Their last home game bill be Wednesday, against an all-or-nothing Vegas team.

Almost all the Blackhawks and Flyers stats are identical, with Chicago holding a slight edge on power play percentage. Chicago holds a pretty bad 20th rank, while Philadelphia's power play is the worst in the league. The two teams have met only once before in the season, about a month and a half ago in March. They Flyers won 4-3. Lankinen was in net for that game, too, so he gets a chance for revenge, tonight. The Flyers had Martin Jones in their net, who is just coming off a 37/38 save win over Pittsburgh.

Most people would rather remember this match-up, I'm guessing:
