Hall of Famer Teemu Selanne Just Bought a Professional Hockey Team..
Teemu Selanne shaped the Anaheim Ducks organizations franchise to greater success after he left, after his many committed years to the black and orange sweater he was introduced into the hockey hall of fame in 2017 after a impressive NHL career.
On Friday June 1st Teemu Selanne has reportedly bought a former KHL team, but the story behind it is awesome!
The team dropped out of the KHL due to the Ukraine attack taking place, Selanne being Finnish supports Ukraine a lot and stepped in to buy the club. Another Hall of Fame legend is involved with the club as well, five time Stanley Cup Champion Jari Kurri!
Jokerit is now owned by Teemu and the club looks to rejoin the LIGA premier league, but info from bladesofsteel.com reveals it will not be this upcoming season if they end up rejoining.
