If your last name is Dach you probably shouldn't try to play at the World Junior Hockey Championships. As it appears that Blackhawks prospect Colton Dach, younger brother of Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach was injured during last night's game vs Team Sweden.
Kirby Dach was injured during the 2021 World Junior Tournament, now Colton could be out after throwing a big hit vs Team Sweden, Dach appeared to hurt his arm or shoulder. Dach went straight to the dressing room and didn't return, and screamed in pain.
Team Canada Head Coach Dennis Williams did not have an update on his status following the contest. Dach has two assists in four games for Canada at the 2023 World Juniors.
