Earlier this week, the Chicago Blackhawks community faced heartbreaking news with the sudden passing of 14-year-old fan Cammy, as revealed by NBC Sports Chicago.
Cammy had a special wish granted by her favorite player at the time, Duncan Keith, a few years back.
Cammy wish was to score a goal assisted by Duncan Keith, and the Blackhawks welcomed her with open arms to make her dream come true. In a touching moment, Cammy, inspired by the resilience of her favorite team and player, experienced the joy of being part of the Blackhawks family.
Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family. The Blackhawks community, along with fans far and wide, joins together to remember Cammy and the impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her. Rest in peace, Cammy.
