Hockey Fans Furious After San Jose Disrespects Mario Lemieux
The San Jose Sharks had yet again another disappointing season, and fans were in hope to have a change happen this off-season. Well, they sure have.. they have hired almost a entire new management group, but also lost there best defenseman and fan favorite, Brent Burns.
Aside from those transactions and moves, the Sharks were still left to sign a few agents. Thursday August fourth the team announced that they have signed one of there younger defenseman Mario Ferraro to a four year contract, with a steal price tag.
The issue, they announced the signing via Twitter by stating
�'Four more years of Super Mario''
The issue with that is Mario Lemieux gained the nickname Super Mario in his younger years.
