The Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning have been delivering some of the most exciting games of the season so far. The two teams have developed a heated rivalry, which originated from their playoff series last year and has carried over into the current season as well as this current playoff matchup.
During a break in the third period of Saturday's game, tensions between the two teams reached a boiling point. It all started when Morgan Rielly and Brayden Point had a heated exchange, and things quickly escalated from there. As multiple players on the ice dropped their gloves, the bench area also became a scene of chaos.
In the midst of all the commotion, former Flyers defenseman Luke Schenn took a few shots at his opponents, including a particularly brutal chirp aimed at former Blackhawk Brandon Hagel.
Jeannot: Schenner, we're going again!
Maroon:.We're gonna f-ing kill you [Schenn]
Schenn: Jeannot's f-ing irrelevant.
Hagel: Who?! He's irrelevant? Holy f-k, you f-ing stink. You f -ing stink at everything.
Schenn: "At least I'm worth the
f-ing trade"
The blood has been boiling between the two teams and we've seen it all throughout this series, tune into tonights game 4 for some more action..
