Any way that you look at it, some players are just polarizing, be it their style, their demeanour or their personality, among other things. PK Subban is just that, and has always been a player who garners attention everywhere. The latest update is no different, and it's an interesting one.
Subban's larger than life personality has earned him multiple NHL media positions after his playing career.
With no contract signed, and the Devils being transparent with the defenseman about their intentions to move forward, naturally the possibility of Subban moving on from hockey becomes much more of a though that isn't so far-fetched.
According to Jim Parsons it seems like a ball in the glove of a fit for the former Norris Trophy winner to pursue a hockey media role.
Subban, 33, played 77 games with the Devils in 2021-22, the Rexdale, Ontario., native scored seven goals and 22 assists for 29 points.
If there's gas left in the tank and hockey to be played, Subban will surely stay in the NHL. But if not, the media role attractiveness certainly increases.
